Cronton Autumn Clean Up

38 Wheatfield Road,,Cronton,Widnes,WA8 5BU

16 Nov 2018

00:00

Meet at Holy Family Car Park on Friday 16th November 2018 to help clear the litter that has built up in the village. All equipment will be provided. Five volunteers cleared litter on Friday 16th November and two others did a stint at other times. Between us we collected 26 bags of rubbish, which were cleared by Knowsley MBC. Thanks to all involved. All the main roads in the area looked very smart afterwards, but sadly this didn't last. Within a week there were at least 50 pieces of litter along Cronton Road and Queensbury Way. It seems cars don't have room for taking litter home these days..
