Cronton Pathways will be litter-picking the Pex Hill area on Friday 9th November 2012. Meet at Holy Family Club car park at 10.00a.m. where gloves, bags and litter-pickers will all be available for volunteers to use in this venture. The BTCV Diploma group will be joining us, as they did in the Spring Clean last year. All help would be appreciated. Thank you. Well, all we can say is we must be doing a good job because we only collected 30 bags of rubbish today! Our regular litter-picks, done as we walk the footpaths, are obviously keeping the litter build-up down. Thanks are due to the children and staff from Year 6 at Holy Family RC Primary School, volunteers from the village and one from Rainhill and our local Community PC, who enthusiastically picked the 30 bags along the pathways from Cronton Village up to Pex Hill. Knowsley Neighbourhood Team supported us by removing the bags for us afterwards, so thanks also to them..
