Pex Hill Clean-Up beginning at the Visitor Centre 10am Saturday 8th February 2014. Pickers, gloves and bags will be provided. Twelve drama students from Cronton 6th Form College together with their tutor David Lloyd-Mostyn, TCV site manager, Neil McMahon and Cronton Pathways member Bess Smith spent a couple of hours on Pex Hill and in the quarry to litter-pick and tidy the area in readiness for their performance "Pex Hill Myths" on Wednesday 12th February at 4.30pm. In collecting about 6 bags of litter and two buckets of bottles and broken glass they have set the scene for a safe performance space and hopefully will be rewarded with a good audience. Come and join them at the Visitor Centre at 4.30pm for the start of what promises to be an interesting and entertaining performance. Thanks to the group for their hard work today, which also included a good amount of bramble clearing to make the paths near the quarry easier to pass along..
