Meet at The Cross Hands Pub at 10am. Equipment provided. Lots of new equipment for youngsters to test out so please encourage all ages to join in. Hopefully the sun will be shining so we can enjoy drinks in the pub garden afterwards. We had a record crowd of litter pickers joining in today, thanks to all who came along to help. Also thanks to the Cross Hands for making us feel so welcome afterwards with coffees in the garden. Eleven bin bags of rubbish were collected, plus bits of cars and a carpet cleaner. Not as much litter as sometimes, but maybe this indicates that our area is generally staying tidier. I'd like to think so. .

These groups are near to you in case you want to contact them for advice, to offer them support or, for example, to share equipment with them.
An important part of our work is with young people. We have met with Junior schools, Brownies and Cubs, and talked about the reduction of litter and recycling.
We liaise with other environmental groups in the area, particularly those with similar aims to ours and we work closely with the local Borough Council.
