Picking up glass from the local playground. Broken glass was reported on the local childrens play area. Two people went and collected the glass up to make the area safe..

Work with local and county councils, report issues requiring attention such as fly tipping, defective infrastructure and waste requiring collection. Friends of Bedfords Park
The Group consists of volunteers who carry out conservation and practical tasks within the Park at Havering-atte-Bower. We hold regular monthly 'litter picks; and encourage all Park users to be responsible for their litter,use the bins provided and aim to increase general awareness of litter,recycling and re-using and composting.

Sanctuary Shaftesbury Reading
This estate clean up was organised by Matt Evans, Housing Officer of the area, and involved staff from the local Office, and contractors. The clean up involved clearing communal areas inside the flats, garages and the outside area. Going forward, it is hoped that a Residents Association will be formed, that will carry out litter picks and maybe start up a weekly gardening club.
