Meet at the cottage - we are tackling the whole length of Ermine Street today! Ring me if you would like to help, 735439 Thanks! The Big Autumn Tidy up is ongoing - we spent a couple of hours today, November 6th 2011, working along Ermine Street, filling another 10 sacks. During the last few weeks we have managed a couple of hours here and there, filling half a dozen bags each time. We cover a 5 mile radius of the village and really DO think there is less litter being thrown out of car windows (the main reason for litter in our area being fast food packaging and drinks cans and bottles being discarded on the move). .
