As a resident's group we are keen to maintain and protect our environment

Welcome to the Keep Stoke Tidy group. We are a small group of volunteers with an increasing concern about the litter across the city. It seems difficult to walk more than a few yards lately without coming across at least one discarded face mask, food wrapper or empty plastic bottle. Rather than choose to live with this we have decided to improve the situation by making a city-wide litter-picking network that we are calling ‘Keep Stoke Tidy’. Our aim is to make sure that every area of this wonderful city has an active litter picking group and through the wonder of social media we would like to support those groups in advertising litter picking events. For those areas that don’t have a litter picking group it would be great to see new ones start up. Throughout the year each group will continue to have their usual local litter picking days but with a larger network it would be brilliant to think that each month of the year we could vote for an area to focus on. We could then arrange an event with a larger group of volunteers, with as many people as possible from all of the other groups coming to work together to focus on that area. We aim to clear litter from most streets and out to the parish boundaries twice a year.

We are a group of residents from BS4 who look after, maintain and enhance Brislington Brook and its environs, in Nightingale Valley and Saint Annes woods. We carry out litter picks, coppicing, tree planting and water testing. We also put on community events, walks and wildlife features.

The Tidy Tetbury Team aims to bring together all those who want to see Tetbury kept tidy and looking good and who are happy to help achieve this by coming out to pick up litter. At the moment, we think that the obvious areas that need tidying up from time to time are likely to be The Rec, the area by the old railway shed, Love Lane (between Tesco and The Chipping) and the path behind Hampton Stores that leads to William Romney's School. But we also think that the Tidy Tetbury Team should be there to help and join in with anyone who wants to tackle the litter problem in their part of Tetbury. Our aim is not only to keep Tetbury tidy but to have fun and make new friends as we do so. The aims of The Friends of Stoneleigh Park (FOSP) are: •To help protect, conserve and enhance Stoneleigh Park as a place of freedom, recreation and enjoyment for the community. •To help protect, conserve and enhance the environment of Derker •To gather input from local people, organisations and representative groups so that the group may best serve the residents of Derker. •To organise events/activities for the local community .

We are a community-led litter picking group based in Gorton. We organise group litter picks and encourage solo picks, and to try educate people on how to report litter/fly tipping issues.

Aim to create a wildlife corridor along the banks of the beck which runs through the heart of the brilliant town of driffield. We also plan to expand our area to cover the whole town and hopefully encouraging wildlife. Our goal is to make the town more appealing to residents, visitors and wildlife whilst acting as a catalyst for regeneration and investment.
