Weekend clear up

We are a neighbourhood co-operative, here to make the area greener and cleaner and promote local responses to the climate emergency.

Recently I have been on a mission to clean up the litter in my local area and I need help from local people. The aim of the group is to tackle litter blackspots in Tonbridge and the surrounding area, especially around local woods, paths, parks and local playgrounds. Litter can be harmful to wildlife, and its not nice to see when walking in the local park with my son. I want to organise local litter picking/clean up days to improve the local environment for everyone. In times when the local councils are cutting funds for street cleaners the litter problem will be sure to get worse, we all have a responsibility to improve our local environment. I am currently dismayed at the sheer amount of trash littered on Salisbury plain and surrounding villages. I am happy to clean myself and happy to work with others if they want.

I've decided to try and get local folk interested in keeping our area clean...hoping people will respond.

The original Fylde Coast beach care group, we look after the shingle beach between the Five Bar Gate and The Venue at Cleveleys. Our core activities are a four weekly community beach clean and a monthly meeting - and throughout the year we do lots of other things to help to improve this beautiful stretch of coast for the people who use it and the wildlife which lives here. Oh, and we have a lot of fun and make a lot of friends - the community which we create is every bit as important as the litter which we pick up! A group to promote and celebrate the litter picking activities of individuals and groups in Mid Ulster

We are a group of volunteers who want to keep the Prittle Brook Greenway in Southend-on-Sea clean and tidy. We undertake regular litter picking sessions along the pathway. We cover the Leigh stretch once a month on a Wednesday morning and the Prittlewell/Westborough stretch once a month on a Saturday morning.

Friends of Temple Ewell & Lydden in Kent Downs AONB are looking to create a healthier and cleaner environment which is Litter free. The road side verges of the main road (London Rd, Canterbury Rd & Lydden Hill) is a regular litter hotspot. Please join us while and enjoy our beautiful countryside
