09.30 - 11.00 am Meet at Greenfield Avenue entrance to Eastfield Park Vic Smith and another local resident collected 1.5 bags of litter from Apple Tree Walk. (We didn't quite get as far as Kettering Road before we had to stop.) Not so much litter at this time of year - mainly drinks cans and bottles with a few crisp bags, sweet wrappers, etc. Disappointing to also see some gardening waste dumped in the park including plastic pots and plant trays. We really expect better from gardeners!! We hope that more people can join us next time - 7th March, meeting at Skiddaw Walk entrance at 9.30 am..
