The next community litter pick around Singleton Lake will take place on Wednesday, 24 June 2015 at 7.15 pm, meeting at the car park. We decided to have a twilight litter pick to accommodate those who cannot attend on the weekends. Litter pickers, high visibility jackets and heavy duty gloves are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own. The main focus will be on the lake and its immediate surroundings, however in case of high attendance this can be extended to Bucksford Meadow, the car park and the field. .

Fenton litter pickers
I am tired of seeing rubbish and dog fouling in my local area. We have a beautiful park and nature reserve and I'm seeing more and more fly tipping not just here but all around my local area. I am hoping there are like minded people out there who for a few hours whenever you can we can organise a clean up of the most blighted places and into the bargain get some much needed excercise and make a few friends along the way. Kirstead Cleaners
We have an annual clean up in the village and mainly on the by-pass which seems to attract vast swathes of rubbish from passing motorists. This event occurs some time in April each year, notice via the Parish Meeting or notice board. We have litter grabbers, safety jackets and black bags!
