Olympic litter pickers wanted. Fancy throwing some moves near the Olympic Park? On Sunday 20th March Beautiful Boroughs Eastside is organizing a litter pick on and near the Greenway, the footpath and cycle way that runs alongside the Olympic Park. Meet 11.00am at the entrance to the Greenway at Wick Lane in Bow - there's a map link below. Gloves, tabards, litter pickers and bags provided. The event is supported by Keep Britain Tidy and CleanupUK, a charity working in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council and the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to enhance the local area for residents and visitors. We aim to set up regular volunteer activities in the borough to help beautify our streets. Join in and you can find out how to adopt a street, tag a tip or green a garden!
