Litter Picking in Eastfield Park & Approaches Sunday 6th March 2016: Booth Lane Entrance, 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm Gloves, Sacks & Litter Pickers Provided We want to mark this special occasion with a special effort and hope that many people will want to join us to clean up the Park and surrounding area. Five volunteers took park contributing about 10 hours of community effort; 12 sacks of litter and other rubbish were collected. Between yesterday's 'Clean for the Queen - 1' and today's litter picking a motor bike had been placed on the seat by the lake and set fire to, destroying both the bike and the seat - a sad beginning to what should have been another afternoon making improvements to the Park. The bike was removed by the Police during the course of the afternoon..
