Every couple of weeks we will spend 2 hours each weekend going over the 3 roads into the village - Ermine Street North and South, and Risby Road. Now these verges have been thoroughly 'deep cleaned' we expect the new litter will fit into a couple of sacks per lane. If you would like to help with the 'walk ups' please contact me (Anita, 735439). Your help would be very gratefully received! The next big litter picks will start again in Autumn, cleaning the verges after the lush growth of summer has finished. Wlak-ups are continuing on a regular, almost daily, basis. We are covering Ermine Street north and south, around 2 to 3 miles in each direction, as well as Risby Road.
