Working together to create a greener, cleaner more beautiful village. volunteer group who litter pick weekly in the local community as part of our entry in to the RHS North West In Bloom competition.We Create and maintain plant displays in the village of Alderley Edge. We Generally pick Monday’s 10:00am, meet Station car park. We extend a warm welcome to new volunteers. We can provide all the litter picking equipment, insurance and training. If you can't attend one of our regular weekly picks but would like to collect litter in your own time using our insurance / support, this is the perfectly fine. Every little bit of help counts! We are pleased to partner with Ansa Services and The Alderley Edge Parish Council.

I am an individual who walks part of the Coventry canal to and from work everyday. I have only been walking along the canal since October 2017 despite being a Coventrian my entire life! It is the city's best kept secret and so peaceful and calm away from crowds and cars. But it makes me angry and sad to see such a beautiful habitat ruined with litter so I started picking litter! I usually pick on my way to/from work in the week but I plan to do more at the weekends and travel further to notoriously messy parts of the canal. We aim to increase social responsibility within the town. We hope that by showing pride in the town it will inspire other people and residents to take ownership of the area in which they live. We are sick of fly tipping and litter and hope to make a positive impact on the town by becoming more action orientated!

Moseley Litterbusters is a group of volunteers dedicated to: Keep Moseley clean; Involving local citizens; In partnership with the local authority and business. We meet most Sundays on Moseley village green 9am -10am. Everybody is welcome. Grabbers, gloves & bags provided. We can also help you to organise and publicise your own litter picks in the Moseley area.
