Two sessions: Session 1 - 10.00am to 12 noon; Session 2 - 2.00pm to 4.00pm; come for one or come for both! Friends of Eastfield Park have organised 'Spring Cleans' in Eastfield Park every year since 2007. This year it is great to be part of a much larger initiative - The Great British Spring Clean! The clean-up will concentrate on the wooded areas and the area around the Lake - areas often overlooked by the contracted litter pickers. A shopping trolley, TV stand, burnt-out motorcycle, garden hose and reel, a sheet of metal, traffic cone, vacuum cleaner, plastic mop bucket, plaster board, tank insulation, waste piping plus 46 bags of assorted litter and other rubbish all removed from Eastfield Park, Northampton, at our Spring Clean on Saturday 4th March (two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon). A BIG 'THANK YOU' TO ALL 23 VOLUNTEERS (19 adults, 2 young teenagers and 2 younger children with their Dad). A JOB WELL DONE!.
