Starting up a group in Folkestone. Looking for people to join me.

Group of people who care about the above park and surrounding area, meet FIRST Saturday of the month at Springbank Resource Centre.

Mostly daily solo litter-picks around my local streets with the backing of the local council.

Focusing on the beach, the sea front and our not so little seaside town! 🚯

We co-ordinate activities for the CPRE litter campaign Stop the Drop in County Durham and Darlington. These include acting as a central focus to which reports of litter grot spots may be made; making regular personal contact with Local Authorities, Parish Councils and tourism organisations; organising litter picks throughout the county; spreading publicity for the Campaign; and taking a programme of litter-awareness education into local schools. The group was initiated by the Parish Council with the aim of ensuring that our village and its environs are kept neat and tidy and as litterfree as possible. We welcome more helpers at our next litterpick on Saturday 21st March 2009.

Areas around the River Thames

I have started picking up litter at my local playing field and I collect it from my street. It upsets me that people have no regard or respect for the area that they live and I have decided to do something about it.
