It's that time of year again ! Oldbury Clean Team is again planning a village cleanup on the day before Mothers' Day, Saturday 2nd April - please help us to give Oldbury a make-over so that our mums will be proud to live in the village. We’ll meet at The Pound at 10.30am, spend an hour and a half picking up all the rubbish that’s been dropped around Oldbury and then celebrate with a BBQ, free to all participants, with burgers and sausages kindly donated by The Anchor. Mothers, fathers and family all welcome. See you there ! .

Bradshaw Hall Clean UP Friends
This group intends to make the areas around Bradshaw Hall Primary School an example how our public open space, roads, play grounds etc. should look like in terms of cleanliness. Currently, the area is in a relatively good condition when compared with some other areas across Greater Manchester which have been terribly affected by littering, dog fouling and fly tipping. However, there are still a lot of work to be done and a lot of mind-sets to change that it's each individual's responsibility to clean up their own mess.

The Friends of Mile End Park
We litter pick Mile End Park, Tower Hamlets on the second Sunday of every month. We meet at 10am by the Art Pavilion which is by Clinton Road and just off Grove Road. We generally do a couple of hours. We can\'t do the whole park in two hours so we generally head north one month and south the next. Litter pickers, gloves, plastic litter bags, and hoops for the bags are supplied. We collapse in a heap at the end in The Coffee Room afterwards and reward ourselves with cake and coffee, and a good old chit chat.

Friends of Cheney Row Park
