Widemouth Task Force (WTF)

I am an individual who walks part of the Coventry canal to and from work everyday. I have only been walking along the canal since October 2017 despite being a Coventrian my entire life! It is the city's best kept secret and so peaceful and calm away from crowds and cars. But it makes me angry and sad to see such a beautiful habitat ruined with litter so I started picking litter! I usually pick on my way to/from work in the week but I plan to do more at the weekends and travel further to notoriously messy parts of the canal. To keep our tiny little village tidy and to raise funds for the charities that my daughters school supports

We are a local authority primary school and are wanting to contribute to the community where litter is concerned.

A Parish Council initiative to reduce litter from our roadside verges and to keep this area beautiful and special

General clean up of the Birchgrove Swansea area

We will be working in London Parks and our neighbourhood streets. Occasionally we will work on the river bank.

This estate clean up was organised by Matt Evans, Housing Officer of the area, and involved staff from the local Office, and contractors. The clean up involved clearing communal areas inside the flats, garages and the outside area. Going forward, it is hoped that a Residents Association will be formed, that will carry out litter picks and maybe start up a weekly gardening club.

We collect litter in a relatively informal way in the area around Nomansland Common.
