A voluntary community group whose aims are that local people adopt an area and help to keep it tidy

Local environmental group. Good links with community. Invented the BIG clean-up, this year with 1000 people involved.

Solo at moment but will try to get local surport. Just returned from asia thought the pictures I saw on internet were made up. Now seen with my own eyes the problem are world is in.

We live here and care about our neighbourhood. It is up to us to look after it and make it a nice place to live. Our ground-zero is Sheerwater Recreation Area. This is a heavily used open space which many of us enjoy using. Because it is so popular it inevitably attracts a lot of rubbish - but this is an easy, and rewarding, problem to deal with. Once we've cleaned up the park on one of our regular n0 $#!+ sessions, then we extend our reach outwards along the canal and neighbouring areas to cover as much as we can.

Voluntary Group. Tidy ↻p St Leonard's ! Holds events to tidy up and improve the streets, paths and woodlands of St Leonard's, East Sussex. Work with local and county councils, report issues requiring attention such as fly tipping, defective infrastructure and waste requiring collection. Liaise with local businesses, schools and organisations. Engage with them and raise awareness of the litter problems in St Leonard's. We are a non political group.

The Tidy Tetbury Team aims to bring together all those who want to see Tetbury kept tidy and looking good and who are happy to help achieve this by coming out to pick up litter. At the moment, we think that the obvious areas that need tidying up from time to time are likely to be The Rec, the area by the old railway shed, Love Lane (between Tesco and The Chipping) and the path behind Hampton Stores that leads to William Romney's School. But we also think that the Tidy Tetbury Team should be there to help and join in with anyone who wants to tackle the litter problem in their part of Tetbury. Our aim is not only to keep Tetbury tidy but to have fun and make new friends as we do so. Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.

Newburgh village

We are a faith-based charity group committed and dedicated to the Area we operate and in giving back to the Community, we created this group to pick Litters off the streets on every 3rd Saturday of every month by 11.00am. The Aim is to make our environment clean and to make Sunderland the cleanest city in the whole Northeast of England.
