Spark pickers

We are a friendly group of volunteers who do Litter picking and gardening in our communty.

We are a village parish council with an aim to keep our locality clear of litter with occasional group litter picks supplemented by regular picks by volunteers who wish to 'adopt' a local patch to keep clear.

We are a local authority primary school and are wanting to contribute to the community where litter is concerned.

Starting with the waterways around the local schools, we aim to bring Warwick back to its former glory, allowing the wildlife to thrive once again and removing the rubbish near neighborhoods.

A community based group passionate about reducing the litter in Newbiggin for the benefit of marine and wildlife, residents and visitors.

Our objectives are: - Keep our area free from litter, rough sleeping, drugs etc, working closely with the Council and its contractors - Look after our stretch of the river and its habitat - Support other groups to help keep Peterborough free from litter - Help to promote a climate where it is unacceptable to drop litter - Work cooperatively with the council to clean up Peterborough

We are a small group of Volunteers passionate about keeping our Town and Country clean. We get out and about most days collecting rubbish from our hedgerows, parks and walks. We are happy to work with other local groups and organisations including educational talks and bringing awareness to this problem we have in our Towns and Country. Must of us within the group have mental health problems and or unseen disabilities and discovered walking and hiking helps with our day to day depression and anxiety and by collecting rubbish on our walks also gives us purpose and feelings of achievement. Varying events where litter picking is needed in our town. Mainly thinking about our wild areas to care for our wilderness and animals

Clean Street Exmouth endeavours to keep the town clean and tidy by co-opting individuals who volunteer to adopt their street or area. We supply postcards for them to deliver to neighbours which invite them to help keep their street clean on a day-by-day basis. We also supply a postcard which adopters can use to organise 1-hour street cleans involving litter and weed removal. We cooperate with the district and town council cleaning services eg: joint 1-hour cleans to recruit new adopters and to show the improvement residents can make.

We clean beaches for the protection of wildlife and have successfully lobbied West Norfolk council for a ban on the mass release of balloons and sky lanterns. We clean beaches around the coast of West Norfolk.
