Friends of Temple Ewell & Lydden in Kent Downs AONB are looking to create a healthier and cleaner environment which is Litter free. The road side verges of the main road (London Rd, Canterbury Rd & Lydden Hill) is a regular litter hotspot. Please join us while and enjoy our beautiful countryside

We aim to help litter pick on a regular basis to keep our village and surrounding roads clear of rubbish.

We\'re a small group who meet once a month, usually on a Saturday, to pick litter across Waltham Abbey.

To clean our countryside and prevent littering.

Welcome to the Keep Stoke Tidy group. We are a small group of volunteers with an increasing concern about the litter across the city. It seems difficult to walk more than a few yards lately without coming across at least one discarded face mask, food wrapper or empty plastic bottle. Rather than choose to live with this we have decided to improve the situation by making a city-wide litter-picking network that we are calling ‘Keep Stoke Tidy’. Our aim is to make sure that every area of this wonderful city has an active litter picking group and through the wonder of social media we would like to support those groups in advertising litter picking events. For those areas that don’t have a litter picking group it would be great to see new ones start up. Throughout the year each group will continue to have their usual local litter picking days but with a larger network it would be brilliant to think that each month of the year we could vote for an area to focus on. We could then arrange an event with a larger group of volunteers, with as many people as possible from all of the other groups coming to work together to focus on that area. We are a group of volunteers who want to keep the Prittle Brook Greenway in Southend-on-Sea clean and tidy. We undertake regular litter picking sessions along the pathway. We cover the Leigh stretch once a month on a Wednesday morning and the Prittlewell/Westborough stretch once a month on a Saturday morning.

We periodically organise group litter picks around the Purbrook and Widley areas, including in local woodland. The aim of the Adopt a Grot Spot campaign is for individual residents to tackle litter in areas not routinely cleared by the Council.

We're a friendly bunch open to everyone, hoping to get Lidget Green clean and tidy.

Clean Street Exmouth endeavours to keep the town clean and tidy by co-opting individuals who volunteer to adopt their street or area. We supply postcards for them to deliver to neighbours which invite them to help keep their street clean on a day-by-day basis. We also supply a postcard which adopters can use to organise 1-hour street cleans involving litter and weed removal. We cooperate with the district and town council cleaning services eg: joint 1-hour cleans to recruit new adopters and to show the improvement residents can make.

We are a small team of about eight volunteers who look after the planted areas of Uttoxeter Station. We also pick up litter when necessary and monitor the passenger areas. We are organised by the North Staffordshire Community Rail Partnership.
