We are part of the Frampton Cotterell and Coalpit Heath Village Action initiative. We aim to co-ordinate the efforts of local people in promoting awareness of the problem of litter; improving attitudes; and taking part in monthly organised litter picking, with the aim of keeping our villages pleasant and pretty. We know that many residents look after the roadsides and paths adjacent to their own homes and wish to encourage this. Some of our members carry chalk to mark dog fouling on pavements, to help people avoid stepping in it and to tell irresponsible dog owners that they should be clearing up after their pet. Litter picking can be very rewarding, and is an opportunity to get out and make new contacts in the village. Please get in touch if you can help in any way, however small. Please email us if there is any particular area in the village over which you have concerns about litter. In 2012 Nisa - Village Roots in Woodend Road gave us some funds and we have bought some hi-viz vests with 'Volunteer - Village Action Litter Busters' printed on them. Group for volunteer litter pickers in Deptford area

We are a dedicated group aiming to get The Haywoods litter free and dog faeces free.

Keep Ashford Clean is a community group based in South Ashford, Kent with the aim to held litter picking events once a month at various locations.

The Green Army has been founded to tackle litter along rural routes around the villages of Harrold, Odell and Carlton in Bedfordshire. Roadside verges leading in and out of these villages will be targeted in a bid to keep our surrounding countryside clean and beautiful, and to provide safe habitats for local wildlife. Any public footpaths or bridleways will also be freed of litter as the need arises. If you are a local resident interested in joining this group please get in touch!

A litter picking group covering Beam Parklands / Old Dagenham Park. Looking for more volunteers so we can over a larger area.

This group was set up to encourage individuals to litter pick in their own streets. We now meet in groups and attend organised events to spread the word.

We are a village parish council with an aim to keep our locality clear of litter with occasional group litter picks supplemented by regular picks by volunteers who wish to 'adopt' a local patch to keep clear.
