We are a group of residents trying to make our neighbourhood a pleasant place in which to live. We aim to watch out for the interests of the residents of the area and to represent those interests to the local Council and others.

We have come together to do positive things, where we can see ways we can help, to make our town even better than we already know it is. We love Broadstairs. We know that most of the people who live here do too and that visitors often fall in love with it from the moment they arrive. It's a great place. But nowhere is perfect and let's face it, if it was it would be boring. We're always thinking of new ideas of things we can do that will make a positive difference and address some of the issues and challenges our town faces. Our aim therefore : Make Broadstairs an even nicer place to work in, live in or visit.

Aim to create a wildlife corridor along the banks of the beck which runs through the heart of the brilliant town of driffield. We also plan to expand our area to cover the whole town and hopefully encouraging wildlife. Our goal is to make the town more appealing to residents, visitors and wildlife whilst acting as a catalyst for regeneration and investment.

I am an individual who walks part of the Coventry canal to and from work everyday. I have only been walking along the canal since October 2017 despite being a Coventrian my entire life! It is the city's best kept secret and so peaceful and calm away from crowds and cars. But it makes me angry and sad to see such a beautiful habitat ruined with litter so I started picking litter! I usually pick on my way to/from work in the week but I plan to do more at the weekends and travel further to notoriously messy parts of the canal. If anyone would care to join me to make a difference and tidy up for the animals and all of us to enjoy, please get in touch :) Thank you, Jennysha P.S. We try to be positive about our work We litter pick as a group every Sunday, we also support lots of lone Pickers that go out during the week to litter pick . We tackle grot spots and support new litter picking groups in other areas of bolton

Working together to create a greener, cleaner more beautiful village. volunteer group who litter pick weekly in the local community as part of our entry in to the RHS North West In Bloom competition.We Create and maintain plant displays in the village of Alderley Edge. We Generally pick Monday’s 10:00am, meet Station car park. We extend a warm welcome to new volunteers. We can provide all the litter picking equipment, insurance and training. If you can't attend one of our regular weekly picks but would like to collect litter in your own time using our insurance / support, this is the perfectly fine. Every little bit of help counts! We are pleased to partner with Ansa Services and The Alderley Edge Parish Council.

Local people working to keep Marske-by-the-sea litter free. We organise regular beach clean ups and litter picking around our area. We have cabinets where you can borrow equipment to do your own litter pick at a time that suits you. Get in touch or join us at our next event if you want to help out! Friends of Cheney Row Park (FoCRP) is a not-for-profit community group managed by a committee of volunteers on behalf of local residents. Events are open to all. We run litter-picking sessions in the park and surrounding area. We also tend to trees, wildflowers and recently planted spring bulbs.
