We are a constitutionalised group which is part of the Natural Kirklees organisation. We organise litter picks in our town and have undertaken renovation projects such as revamping disused planters.

'Putting litter where the sun doesn't shine!' A small group of like-minded people focused on tackling litter hotspots in and around the Teignmouth / Newton Abbot area.

To clean up litter in and around the town of Axminster

Our first litter pick took place in November 2016. People stopped their cars & asked how to get involved, more have joined since. We live in a beautiful area & want to get rid of the litter which spoils the countryside. 6 Local businesses & 2 village residents have sponsored us & we now all have our own equipment (not borrowed from the District Council) Our hi-vis vests have a litter picking logo on the back & the Sponsor's name on the front. Our Parish Council support us by insuring us and a local garage has offered assistance.

The Love North Chingford Group is a Community Group formed to help improve and enhance the environment in North Chingford, particularly Station Road and the Conservation area. Three litter picks were arranged in 2018 and more will be undertaken in 2019.

The Group consists of volunteers who carry out conservation and practical tasks within the Park at Havering-atte-Bower. We hold regular monthly 'litter picks; and encourage all Park users to be responsible for their litter,use the bins provided and aim to increase general awareness of litter,recycling and re-using and composting.

Local people working to keep Marske-by-the-sea litter free. We organise regular beach clean ups and litter picking around our area. We have cabinets where you can borrow equipment to do your own litter pick at a time that suits you. Get in touch or join us at our next event if you want to help out! We are part of the Frampton Cotterell and Coalpit Heath Village Action initiative. We aim to co-ordinate the efforts of local people in promoting awareness of the problem of litter; improving attitudes; and taking part in monthly organised litter picking, with the aim of keeping our villages pleasant and pretty. We know that many residents look after the roadsides and paths adjacent to their own homes and wish to encourage this. Some of our members carry chalk to mark dog fouling on pavements, to help people avoid stepping in it and to tell irresponsible dog owners that they should be clearing up after their pet. Litter picking can be very rewarding, and is an opportunity to get out and make new contacts in the village. Please get in touch if you can help in any way, however small. Please email us if there is any particular area in the village over which you have concerns about litter. In 2012 Nisa - Village Roots in Woodend Road gave us some funds and we have bought some hi-viz vests with 'Volunteer - Village Action Litter Busters' printed on them.
