Making New Malden look \"NEW\" again!

Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.

Local Streets

I am sick of going into the countryside and finding people have dumped there crap, ie Car Tyres, beds, car seats, cookers, and other crap. I would like to be able to stop this happening but I know that will be hard so I am happy to make it difficult for people.

We are a local authority primary school and are wanting to contribute to the community where litter is concerned.

Provide community facilities for residents

Recently I have been on a mission to clean up the litter in my local area and I need help from local people. The aim of the group is to tackle litter blackspots in Tonbridge and the surrounding area, especially around local woods, paths, parks and local playgrounds. Litter can be harmful to wildlife, and its not nice to see when walking in the local park with my son. I want to organise local litter picking/clean up days to improve the local environment for everyone. In times when the local councils are cutting funds for street cleaners the litter problem will be sure to get worse, we all have a responsibility to improve our local environment. We are a group of volunteers who want to keep the Prittle Brook Greenway in Southend-on-Sea clean and tidy. We undertake regular litter picking sessions along the pathway. We cover the Leigh stretch once a month on a Wednesday morning and the Prittlewell/Westborough stretch once a month on a Saturday morning.
