The Townsend Together Team (3Ts) is an action group for Townsend. The group is made up of residents and organisations. The group has helped reduce crime & anti social behaviour and has improved the local environment, youth provision and community cohesion. The group meets once a month.

Welcome to the Keep Stoke Tidy group. We are a small group of volunteers with an increasing concern about the litter across the city. It seems difficult to walk more than a few yards lately without coming across at least one discarded face mask, food wrapper or empty plastic bottle. Rather than choose to live with this we have decided to improve the situation by making a city-wide litter-picking network that we are calling ‘Keep Stoke Tidy’. Our aim is to make sure that every area of this wonderful city has an active litter picking group and through the wonder of social media we would like to support those groups in advertising litter picking events. For those areas that don’t have a litter picking group it would be great to see new ones start up. Throughout the year each group will continue to have their usual local litter picking days but with a larger network it would be brilliant to think that each month of the year we could vote for an area to focus on. We could then arrange an event with a larger group of volunteers, with as many people as possible from all of the other groups coming to work together to focus on that area. Join our volunteer warden scheme, organising action within Worcestershire. We offer practical help and advice to volunteer wardens, who meet on a regular basis to exchange information and ideas on how to improve their neighbourhoods. Each litter warden is provided with a litter picker, gloves and refuse sacks. We encourage wardens to recycle the waste they collect; we also offer to dispose of any waste collected.

I litter pick around Ventnor where needed once a month. Details of venue are usually in the South Wight Chronicle if any one wishes to join me. I have one or two regular volunteers, together with my dog Pistache.

The aim of this group is to keep our estate and its adjoining green spaces clear of litter. I collect on a regular basis and would love to be supported by other like minded people.

I joined my friend Ryan's group Clean Lincoln Everywhere And Now and we picked the virge and copse along am 800m stretch of Triton Rd in Lincoln. Afterwards I decided to attempt to manage it by litter picking, by bike, on my daily commute to and from work. I also join in with the Sincil Bank River Care team, when I can. I enjoy working in and on the water.

We're a group of local people who want to make a difference to the look of the area....and make us proud to live here. We do litter picks, tidy up communal garden areas and generally anything to help make the place nicer for all!!!

We are a constitutionalised group which is part of the Natural Kirklees organisation. We organise litter picks in our town and have undertaken renovation projects such as revamping disused planters.
