We aim to help litter pick on a regular basis to keep our village and surrounding roads clear of rubbish.

Our local guide unit would like to arrange at least one, if not two litter picking days in our village per year. I would like to know where to get the picker sticks from and vests etc

We are a voluntary litter picking group in Witham, Essex, who are passionate about keeping our local area tidy and free of litter. We meet up once a month at various locations across the town and are always looking for new volunteers! We love getting the community together and have previously had amazing assistance from the Witham & District Lionesses as well as local schools and Brownies and Beavers groups. We have also been interviewed by BBC Essex and received a Community & Safety Award from Witham Neighbourhood Watch! We have about 350 members, and about 50 active .This year we have collected 3200 bags of rubbish

created for the Rainham Essex area, inc. South Hornchurch. We aim to keep litter off the streets adn out of the parks adn play areas. Regular patrols and litter picks combined with sponsored walks.
