This is a new group that I am setting up. I have in the past 15 years picked up over 5,000 bags of litter in North Harrow and surrounding area. There's more that can be done and I need your help and also help you in your area. Come and join us the Harrow Litterbusters!

We will be working in London Parks and our neighbourhood streets. Occasionally we will work on the river bank.

We have 3 main aims ​ Improve the environment of Oadby, Wigston and South Wigston To work with Oadby and Wigston Borough Council to support the Borough's entry into East Midlands in Bloom Encourage and support community activities that will increase pride in our Borough

Our groups main aim is to improve the local environment so that it looks cleaner and more presentable as the litter in the area is spoiling the look of where we live and work. We would like to bring together the working community of the business park in order to clean things up a bit by keeping the area litter free. We feel that this would be a great opportunity to meet some of our neighbours, get some gentle exercise and achieve something really valuable at the same time.

Our area around Cornwallis is in a terrible state, with litter everywhere! Dog litter packets laying around, as dog walkers ignore bins and drop off points along the way. At the moment our group only consists of 2 people, Isabella and Tessi Askew. If anyone wants to join, please email tessi.askew19@gmail.com. We could widen the fight on litter. Every little bit helps! Welcome to the Keep Stoke Tidy group. We are a small group of volunteers with an increasing concern about the litter across the city. It seems difficult to walk more than a few yards lately without coming across at least one discarded face mask, food wrapper or empty plastic bottle. Rather than choose to live with this we have decided to improve the situation by making a city-wide litter-picking network that we are calling ‘Keep Stoke Tidy’. Our aim is to make sure that every area of this wonderful city has an active litter picking group and through the wonder of social media we would like to support those groups in advertising litter picking events. For those areas that don’t have a litter picking group it would be great to see new ones start up. Throughout the year each group will continue to have their usual local litter picking days but with a larger network it would be brilliant to think that each month of the year we could vote for an area to focus on. We could then arrange an event with a larger group of volunteers, with as many people as possible from all of the other groups coming to work together to focus on that area. I come home to Newcastle now and again. I would encourage others who are here more permanently to create a group. Unfortunately as there isn't a group yet for Newcastle.

Keeping the 2 Dales of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale free from litter for the enjoyment of our local community and many visitors to our area of outstanding natural beauty in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

As our contribution to the Duke of Edinburgh’s scheme volunteering requirement, and as local residents (who dog walk, run and cycle across the heathlands), we are collecting litter for the next 12 weeks and will carry on after that to clean up the woodlands and heaths surrounding camberley. We will focus on barossa and diamond ridge hence the name of the group being Diamond Geezers.

Rubbish Friends organises litter picking sessions around Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas so that the environment is improved for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. Rubbish Friends also promotes the benefits of this work to raise public awareness of the issues related to litter and its impact.
