Mashamshire is an area of outstanding beauty. We are doing what we can to preserve it. We do litter collection along the lanes and footpaths in and around Masham - and we find loads of plastic. We are reducing the impact of micro-plastics on the diet of your children and grand-children! A Masham resident has kindly offered to pay for our group meeting coffees. Many thanks. Weekly Winchester-based litter picks focusing on roadside verge clearance along with Winchester City Street Cleaning Company, Idverde

We co-ordinate activities for the CPRE litter campaign Stop the Drop in County Durham and Darlington. These include acting as a central focus to which reports of litter grot spots may be made; making regular personal contact with Local Authorities, Parish Councils and tourism organisations; organising litter picks throughout the county; spreading publicity for the Campaign; and taking a programme of litter-awareness education into local schools. Keeping the 2 Dales of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale free from litter for the enjoyment of our local community and many visitors to our area of outstanding natural beauty in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Tidy Up Bishops Stortford meets every other month for a couple of hours. We blitz a street or area in the town often collecting over 50 bags of rubbish Next clear up is on March 12th

We aim to prevent and discourage litter and ensure its removal as rapidly and effectively as possible, in order to maintain a clean and attractive environment in and around Tiverton. We work with all age groups especially children. We use publicity, schools campaigns and competitions, partnership with local councils, churches and by setting examples with public litter picks.

At this time this is a one man group, but all help will be gratefully received.
