I started litter picking as I was annoyed by the litter in the hedges outside Roys supermarket and it snowballed from there. I regularly litter pick around the village and also other areas whilst out and about. I am doing this for the wildlife and the environment.

At this time this is a one man group, but all help will be gratefully received.

We co-ordinate activities for the CPRE litter campaign Stop the Drop in County Durham and Darlington. These include acting as a central focus to which reports of litter grot spots may be made; making regular personal contact with Local Authorities, Parish Councils and tourism organisations; organising litter picks throughout the county; spreading publicity for the Campaign; and taking a programme of litter-awareness education into local schools. I am a walker / runner living in the St Cleer, Liskeard area fed up with seeing discarded litter cluttering the country lanes and endever to do a litter pick every Saturday morning following a 5k circuit around the villages. We wish to live in a clean tidy safe environment. if you want to make a difference you have to get up and do something about. Our group litter picks regularly and several do it while dog walking. Like minded group of people who enjoy living in a litter free community. Litter costs nature and the environment we continue to strive to fight against this needless blight.

I have just started this group, having been surprised to find there is no group in Exeter. I would particularly like to find people willing to help keep the 'Valley Parks' litter free.

We are a group of local residents who are keen to make Palmers Green a beautiful and thriving place to be. We have ad hoc litter picks which we organise through our volunteer WhatsApp group. I set up the group on realizing there were areas of Lincoln's South Common where litter had been accumulating for years. We have managed to get on top of this situation and are now kept busy due to litter being left around the ponds and viewpoints around the common throughout the year . Since I started picking it I've seen weasels fighting, dear, buzzards and kestrel, herron, partridge and pheasants which, for me, makes it one of the most enjoyable places to pick in Lincoln.

I am tired of seeing rubbish and dog fouling in my local area. We have a beautiful park and nature reserve and I'm seeing more and more fly tipping not just here but all around my local area. I am hoping there are like minded people out there who for a few hours whenever you can we can organise a clean up of the most blighted places and into the bargain get some much needed excercise and make a few friends along the way. We are a group of residents and holiday makers who want to keep Chapel St Leonards village and its beach free of litter. We welcome anyone who would like to join in. We meet every Thursday at 10am at the pullover onto the beach. Afterwards we go and have a drink and natter so it's ideal if you want to make new friends.
