There will be a Welwyn Village Litter Pick on Sunday 13th November starting at 11am. Meeting place is in the car park by the playing fields on Ottway Walk (near the Primary School). There will be some pickers, bags and high visibility jackets provided but if you have your own please do bring them. And wear protective gloves if you have them. We are usually out for about 2 hours. I look forward to seeing you all there! Sarah Butcher, Welwyn Village Clean Up Group Coordinator The sun shone and we picked up litter. Just three of us; Harvey, Mark and I. We picked 8 bags along with traffic cones, old wood, a plastic table, a car stereo, carpets, builders buckets and rubble. Welwyn Hatfield Council have got involved and give us bags and pick up our litter after the event. All in all a VERY successful morning! Thanks again to Mark and Harvey for their sterling efforts.
