We\'re a small group who meet once a month, usually on a Saturday, to pick litter across Waltham Abbey.

Feel free to join me in picking up litter from time to time. Cleaning up the countryside one bag at a time.

We are a community-led litter picking group doing as many litter picks as we can to clean up Salford and to try educate people on how to report litter/fly tipping issues.

We are a volunteer group of local residents tackling litter pollution and fly-tipping in the Stretford, Longford and Gorse Hill ward areas of Trafford through community-led action. Our mission is to make our neighbourhood a safer, cleaner and greener place for wildlife and residents to live and enjoy. We encourage our members to conduct solo litter picks and organise regular community clean-up events for those who want to make Stretford a litter-free zone. We also advocate for local and national initiatives that can help drive long-term environmental behaviour change, while working closely with Trafford Council, schools, local businesses and community groups to target problem areas and raise awareness about the damage caused by litter and fly-tipping.

Recently I have been on a mission to clean up the litter in my local area and I need help from local people. The aim of the group is to tackle litter blackspots in Tonbridge and the surrounding area, especially around local woods, paths, parks and local playgrounds. Litter can be harmful to wildlife, and its not nice to see when walking in the local park with my son. I want to organise local litter picking/clean up days to improve the local environment for everyone. In times when the local councils are cutting funds for street cleaners the litter problem will be sure to get worse, we all have a responsibility to improve our local environment. We are a group of volunteers in Colindale, North London, who want to reduce the amount of litter in the area and motivate other to follow us.

Please contact me if you would like to be part of this group based in Park Street. The general aim is to make our area as pleasant a place to live as possible by reducing the amount of litter on our streets, our parks and green spaces.

We're a friendly bunch open to everyone, hoping to get Lidget Green clean and tidy.
