Sunny and dry .......... not at all what we have come to expect for an Otterford Parish Litter Pick! In two hours our twenty four volunteers collected 48 sackfuls of litter, and a range of other things including seven car tyres, four hub caps, two half doors, a sheet of insulation material, two sinks, several bags of broken tiles, a concrete slab and three road signs. We were particularly pleased to acknowledge the lazy electrician (who dumped lots of off cuts of wire etc), and those people who finished their fish and chip meal whilst driving along the B3170 – these and others helped us to fill those two hours! After sorting, 347 drinks cans, 359 plastic bottles and 70 glass bottles were recycled.

As before we didn't manage to clear all roads in the parish, but did pick along the whole length of the B3170 as well and many other places. .
