Informal socially distanced litter pick from A54 Junction at Ethels Green, along Church Lane, Bank Lane, Bramhall Hill, Pexall Road, Shellow Lane and Back though the Park. 3 full bags, mainly from Ethels Greem/A54, Church Lane, Bramhall Hill stretch of Pexall Lane to Congleton Rd. Found some nice yellow wild Iris along the way. .

An early morning forage along the verges and in the hedgerows filled 2 bags within 200m of the crossroads. A couple of roads signs also made more visible by clipping back hedge shoots

The original Fylde Coast beach care group, we look after the shingle beach between the Five Bar Gate and The Venue at Cleveleys. Our core activities are a four weekly community beach clean and a monthly meeting - and throughout the year we do lots of other things to help to improve this beautiful stretch of coast for the people who use it and the wildlife which lives here. Ravenfield Rubbish Rascals
We have 26 active litter pickers each one of whom takes responsibility for a stretch of road or an area of green space. We meet occasionally to review tactics and to swop ideas. We have a massive litter pick once a year to shift an area of accumulated rubbish. We have good relations with the Parish Council and the local authority who are great at clearing flytipping when we inform them.

Bradshaw Hall Clean UP Friends
This group intends to make the areas around Bradshaw Hall Primary School an example how our public open space, roads, play grounds etc. should look like in terms of cleanliness. Currently, the area is in a relatively good condition when compared with some other areas across Greater Manchester which have been terribly affected by littering, dog fouling and fly tipping. However, there are still a lot of work to be done and a lot of mind-sets to change that it's each individual's responsibility to clean up their own mess.
