Informal socially distanced litter pick from A54 Junction at Ethels Green, along Church Lane, Bank Lane, Bramhall Hill, Pexall Road, Shellow Lane and Back though the Park. 3 full bags, mainly from Ethels Greem/A54, Church Lane, Bramhall Hill stretch of Pexall Lane to Congleton Rd. Found some nice yellow wild Iris along the way. .

An early morning forage along the verges and in the hedgerows filled 2 bags within 200m of the crossroads. A couple of roads signs also made more visible by clipping back hedge shoots

Green Gym work outs can include helping volunteer wardens with various projects, including shrub clearance, bramble cutting-back, unwanted shoot removal and any other environmental jobs under guidance! We have guided walks with knowledgeable wardens and keen amateurs. This is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy quiet and lovely natual environments in north west London. Saltwells Clean & Green
We aim to clean up and maintain an urban nature reserve and ancient woodland right in the heart of a built up industrial area. Saltwells Woods and nature reserve is well used and well loved, and was recently saved from having a housing estate built on it, but sadly also neglected. With a renewed vigour now the woods are saved, we vow to make the area as CLEAN & GREEN as we possibly can.

We live here and care about our neighbourhood. It is up to us to look after it and make it a nice place to live. Our ground-zero is Sheerwater Recreation Area. This is a heavily used open space which many of us enjoy using. Because it is so popular it inevitably attracts a lot of rubbish - but this is an easy, and rewarding, problem to deal with. Once we've cleaned up the park on one of our regular n0 $#!+ sessions, then we extend our reach outwards along the canal and neighbouring areas to cover as much as we can.
