Litter picking at Junction 26 (Honey Lane)

21 Townmead Road,Waltham Abbey,EN9 1RP

17 Mar 2018

00:00

Join the Waltham Abbey Litter Picking Posse at our inaugural pick. We'll be getting into the verges along Honey Lane by Junction 26 which are loaded with litter. We'll assemble at the Skillet Hill Farm bus stop (66 route) at 11.00. Equipment will be provided for up to ten volunteers or you can bring your own if you have it. Let's get picky! Please note that this is a busy stretch of road so we ask all volunteers to make sure that they stick to picking the verge and ditch. Waltham Abbey Litter Picking Posse is a small group and cannot take responsibility for participants' safety. https://www.facebook.com/events/1762118880762261/ .

Kingstone Guides
Our local guide unit would like to arrange at least one, if not two litter picking days in our village per year. I would like to know where to get the picker sticks from and vests etc

I come home to Newcastle now and again. I would encourage others who are here more permanently to create a group. Unfortunately as there isn't a group yet for Newcastle.
