We are organising our first litter pick up on Friday 26 April 2019, 10 am to 3 pm. We will be covering the whole of Grindon Way and we would love to hear from any of one who would like to join us at any point during the day. We will be providing litter grabbers, garbage bags, gloves etc, as well as refreshments for our hard working volunteers. Please contact me if you would like to get involved or just come along and join us. tina.galloway@sabrerail.com 01325 300505 A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in the litter pick today, including all Sabre Rail staff, ALM Products Ltd and Travik Chemicals Ltd and also to Great Aycliffe Town Council who provided us with all of the equipment that we needed. We managed to collect a total of 28 bags of rubbish! What a fantastic result. We can't wait to organise our next event..

We are the Brewood Civic Society and as part of the Best Kept Village competition and our villages benefit, we organise a rota for picking litter in the village and along the canal tow path. BCS members go out every day in the spring and summer to litter pick.

Fylde Litter Action Group (FLAG)
Fylde Litter Action Group (FLAG) is a partnership between Fylde Council departments and various other local organisations, street reps and voluntary groups that are concerned with tackling litter within the Fylde Council area, including the St Annes Beach Care Group, Fairhaven Coastal Care Group and The Friends of the Estuary Coastal Care Group in Lytham. FLAG has been set up with the ultimate aim of preventing dropped litter in the area.
