Litter pick up

Sabre Rail

We are organising our first litter pick up on Friday 26 April 2019, 10 am to 3 pm. We will be covering the whole of Grindon Way and we would love to hear from any of one who would like to join us at any point during the day. We will be providing litter grabbers, garbage bags, gloves etc, as well as refreshments for our hard working volunteers. Please contact me if you would like to get involved or just come along and join us. tina.galloway@sabrerail.com 01325 300505 A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in the litter pick today, including all Sabre Rail staff, ALM Products Ltd and Travik Chemicals Ltd and also to Great Aycliffe Town Council who provided us with all of the equipment that we needed. We managed to collect a total of 28 bags of rubbish! What a fantastic result. We can't wait to organise our next event..

Stretford Litter Pickers
We are a volunteer group of local residents tackling litter pollution and fly-tipping in the Stretford, Longford and Gorse Hill ward areas of Trafford through community-led action. Our mission is to make our neighbourhood a safer, cleaner and greener place for wildlife and residents to live and enjoy. We encourage our members to conduct solo litter picks and organise regular community clean-up events for those who want to make Stretford a litter-free zone. Test Valley Clean Up
The A3057 and A3090 are usually full of litter and the verges are only cleared infrequently - and in many places never. In the Summer it does not look so bad because of the grass - but come the Winter! A number of more minor roads are also left with litter because it would seem that Test Valley Borough Council only cares, if at all, about Andover and Romsey. The aim is to get Test Valley BC to do what it is required to do under the EPA for the district as a whole and not just the main urban areas.
