We will be meeting at the gravel car park by the Lock Keeper pub, Keynsham Road between 11am and 1pm to collect as much rubbish from the side of the river as possible - please come and help if you can. B&NES council are lending us some equipment, but do bring your own gloves, litter grabber, bags if you have them. In the past we have filled the council's truck when they come to collect the rubbish afterwards, let's see if we can make them do two trips!! .

Bennett\'s Community Crew are a team of people from Bennett Restaurants Ltd. (a franchise of McDonald\'s) who want to make a difference in their local area. We currently have 18 restaurants across Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire and St Helier in Jersey. As well as doing litter patrols on a daily basis in our local areas, we have bigger events at least quarterly. We aim to prevent and discourage litter and ensure its removal as rapidly and effectively as possible, in order to maintain a clean and attractive environment in and around Tiverton. Collie Collections
Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.

Keeping Rothwell Clean & Green
Spurred on by the grass verges and parks around our lovely town regularly covered with litter, I decided to do litter picking walks in my free time.
