We are finally making a difference to the amount of litter around the Rossendale area. The recent collection of over 140 bags of litter from the A682 by-pass is just one example. Today's litter pick will be up Bury Road from the Metal Tree Bed up to the Whitchaff. Litter pickers and Hi-Viz jackets provided! Keep Forebridge Tidy is a group made up of likeminded individuals within the Forebridge Ward of Stafford who want to keep the area tidy. The scheme works by each volunteer taking ownership of their street, selection of streets or part of their street and keeping it free from litter by conducting regular litter picks. Bradshaw Hall Clean UP Friends
This group intends to make the areas around Bradshaw Hall Primary School an example how our public open space, roads, play grounds etc. should look like in terms of cleanliness. Currently, the area is in a relatively good condition when compared with some other areas across Greater Manchester which have been terribly affected by littering, dog fouling and fly tipping.
