Inagural Litter Pick Day

73 Templeton Drive,fearnhead,Warrington,WA2 0WR

08 Jul 2011

23:00

All We are planning our first excursion around the Templeton Drive estate on Saturday 9th July starting around 10am. Weather permitting we will meet at the play ground area and break off into small groups and tackle areas in the estate. I have attached some documents that i would appreciate you look at and discuss with the kids who will be attending. As much as it is fun and an educational process we also want to ensure that we have the safest experience we can. If its sunny please ensure the kids have caps and or wear sun cream lotion I have got some equipment but i would appreciate if you can wear suitable clothing and take a pair of gloves with you if possible.on the day. I have contacted Warrington council and hope to be given some equipment and bags etc to help us going forward. The plan is to gather up everything we can find and take it back to the play area where it will be divided into what can be recycled.

Once again for ease if you can join the litter action group we have created it will be easier to communicate in future. Please ask your Family ,friends and neighbours to get involved and join in Regards Charlie Ruddy .

Saltwells Clean & Green
We aim to clean up and maintain an urban nature reserve and ancient woodland right in the heart of a built up industrial area. Saltwells Woods and nature reserve is well used and well loved, and was recently saved from having a housing estate built on it, but sadly also neglected. With a renewed vigour now the woods are saved, we vow to make the area as CLEAN & GREEN as we possibly can.

Lady Bay Litter Pickers
Lady Bay Litterpickers no longer functions as a group. Instead, individuals are issued with equipment to litterpick an area of Lady Bay of their choice, usually the streets immediately around their home and at times convenient to them. If you would like to be involved in this new style of litterpicking, please get in touch - sian.trafford@ntu.ac.uk . Be assured, however, that our aims are still to keep Lady Bay as one of the best places to live, and to generate pride in our community.
