We have two litter picks running concurrently on this day. Both start at 10am. The first meets at Chailey Free Church car park, South Chailey and the second at Pound Common car park, North Chailey. Some equipment available on the day but please bring gloves and a grabber if you have one and please wear sensible footwear for walking on verges/uneven ground. We are grateful for any one who is willing to freely give their time to help keep Chailey clean and tidy. .

Fenton litter pickers
I am tired of seeing rubbish and dog fouling in my local area. We have a beautiful park and nature reserve and I'm seeing more and more fly tipping not just here but all around my local area. I am hoping there are like minded people out there who for a few hours whenever you can we can organise a clean up of the most blighted places and into the bargain get some much needed excercise and make a few friends along the way. We have an annual clean up in the village and mainly on the by-pass which seems to attract vast swathes of rubbish from passing motorists. This event occurs some time in April each year, notice via the Parish Meeting or notice board. We have litter grabbers, safety jackets and black bags!
