Great Spring clean-up....UPDATE

Lewes,BN7 2JB

19 Mar 2017

00:00

For our small group, this was to be just another of our regular monthly picks. However, due to the UK wide publicity about The Great British Spring Clean, I decided to publicise our forthcoming event locally, in the hope of encouraging some more volunteers. Good news! We had a full turnout, plus three new members. Welcome to Denise, Rosie and Chris. So the ten of us managed to fill 18 refuse sacks and collect a number of items of fly-tipped material, including a Microwave Oven. Thank you to everyone who turned out on this blustery day and thanks to the passers-by who voiced their appreciation for what we volunteers do. .
