Great British Spring Clean at Sheerwater Recreation Ground. We collected 10 bags of litter, a traffic cone, a pallet and a tea trolley. Other items of interest included a door handle, a kettle, a pair of shoes, the front of a moped, a pair of shoes and a toy helicopter. .

The Green Army
The Green Army has been founded to tackle litter along rural routes around the villages of Harrold, Odell and Carlton in Bedfordshire. Roadside verges leading in and out of these villages will be targeted in a bid to keep our surrounding countryside clean and beautiful, and to provide safe habitats for local wildlife. Diamond (Ridge) Geezers
As our contribution to the Duke of Edinburgh’s scheme volunteering requirement, and as local residents (who dog walk, run and cycle across the heathlands), we are collecting litter for the next 12 weeks and will carry on after that to clean up the woodlands and heaths surrounding camberley. Collie Collections
Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.

We are based in Keyham by college road primary school and we are going to tidy our local area. Recycle what we can and dispose of the rest!
