Two hour beach clean for the Great British Beach clean. We plan to clean from Bowleaze Cove towards Overcombe corner. Meet at 10am by the jetty. Suitable footwear and gloves required. Please see Facebook group Paws on Weymouth Beaches & Open spaces to register..

Penarth Beach Wardens
The Beach Wardens at Penarth are all unpaid volunteers who give up some of their free time to help keep Penarth beach free of litter. The group are independent of both the local town council and the county council but all Wardens are members of the Penarth Civic Society, which covers the general administration for the group, negotiates licences and other working relationships with beach owners and local authorities, and pays the necessary insurance premiums.

All over the UK, motorhome owners stop for a few hours and sometimes stay the night in rural carparks and laybys - some call this 'Wild Camping'. We are a group of Ushers at the Hawth Theatre here in Crawley fed up with the disgusting mess left in the auditorium, after some of the shows. Recently we had new carpets and seating installed but despite this the litter and even chewing gum on seats is as bad as ever.

Collie Collections
Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.
