CPRE bottle deposit scheme support pick

18 meadway,Harrold,Bedford,Mk437dr

29 Sep 2018

23:00

1.30pm meeting in Carlton village (exact location in village to be confirmed). An Approx. Two hour litter picking event clearing along one of the rural roads our from this village. Collected litter will be sorted to enable cans and bottles to be quantified and categorised to support the CPRE September campaign. Collected 10 sacks of litter on this litter pick, and reported a fly tip in the bridle way entrance. Attended by 8 hard working volunteers- thanks to all. We had good weather, good company and tasty biscuits to finish. Some great research carried out at the same time for CPRE's Green Clean, contributing to data that CPRE are collating to send on to the Government in an endeavour to obtain the best possible bottle deposit scheme. Thanks all!!.
