Our objectives are: - Keep our area free from litter, rough sleeping, drugs etc, working closely with the Council and its contractors - Look after our stretch of the river and its habitat - Support other groups to help keep Peterborough free from litter - Help to promote a climate where it is unacceptable to drop litter - Work cooperatively with the council to clean up Peterborough

Friends of Cheney Row Park (FoCRP) is a not-for-profit community group managed by a committee of volunteers on behalf of local residents. Events are open to all. We run litter-picking sessions in the park and surrounding area. We also tend to trees, wildflowers and recently planted spring bulbs.

I have just started this group, having been surprised to find there is no group in Exeter. I would particularly like to find people willing to help keep the 'Valley Parks' litter free.

Aim to create a brighter and better Orrell in which to live and work. The area in Wigan is semi rural area and we litter pick the local streets, country lanes, fields and parks

The original Fylde Coast beach care group, we look after the shingle beach between the Five Bar Gate and The Venue at Cleveleys. Our core activities are a four weekly community beach clean and a monthly meeting - and throughout the year we do lots of other things to help to improve this beautiful stretch of coast for the people who use it and the wildlife which lives here. Oh, and we have a lot of fun and make a lot of friends - the community which we create is every bit as important as the litter which we pick up! This group closed in February 2014 as the organiser moved out of the area and there were no other members

If you're reading this you're probably already aware that there is a serious litter problem and something must be done! As well as solo daily pickings while walking the dogs, I'm also organising various community clean-ups, mostly a monthly one at the Welsh Harp. I have lots of equipment which I'm very happy to lend out, as well as welcoming suggestions for other areas that need a clean-up. Please contact if you wish to get involved.

We have come together to do positive things, where we can see ways we can help, to make our town even better than we already know it is. We love Broadstairs. We know that most of the people who live here do too and that visitors often fall in love with it from the moment they arrive. It's a great place. But nowhere is perfect and let's face it, if it was it would be boring. We're always thinking of new ideas of things we can do that will make a positive difference and address some of the issues and challenges our town faces. Our aim therefore : Make Broadstairs an even nicer place to work in, live in or visit.
