This is our First Event! Start Time: 10:45 for an 11am Start until 1pm (or if you have a bit more time on your hands, I'm happy to stay out longer) We're now fortunate enough to have been kindly donated a number of Hi-Vis Jackets, litter pickers and bags. You can still bring your own to the event if you like. Please make sure you remember to bring the following anyway: Good Gloves Any first aid supplies you may need while out A drink to keep hydrated Anything else you see fit for litter picking Comfy shoes and clothing is highly recommended, please dress for the weather. Please ensure your own safety and others while we are out, if you require insurance, please arrange this yourself but the rules of common sense and being safe apply; don't pick up anything suspicious and report anything suspicious to local authorities. Litter Picking session starting from Vesta Avenue Parade of shops. Depending on how many volunteers we have there will be a short route, or long route option.

We will decide on the day. I have posted images of both routes. Short route will include Vesta Ave, the alleys running between watling street and watling view, watling view and tavistock ave, tavistock ave itself and the off roads comprising. Long route will be: walking down Watling Street, through the alley to Conningsby Bank and back up Watling view including the side roads. Back round Tavistock avenue. I will make some signs so we can have litter deposit sites and I'll round up the bags to take to the dump at the end of the event. If you can't make it on the day but would still like to help out by donating, you can make donations in bin liners, litter pickers, hi-vis jackets, gloves or anything else by getting in contact at the email address provided. We also reported a fault with a lmap post which was attended to immediately. Good turn out and outcome from event!.

Keep Forebridge Tidy
Keep Forebridge Tidy is a group made up of likeminded individuals within the Forebridge Ward of Stafford who want to keep the area tidy. The scheme works by each volunteer taking ownership of their street, selection of streets or part of their street and keeping it free from litter by conducting regular litter picks. No formal litter picks are arranged allowing volunteers to litter pick as and when they can.

Kirstead Cleaners
