Saturday November 14th 10:00am-12:00pm Meet 10am at the West Hendon Playing fields car park, off Goldsmith Avenue, approximate postcode NW9 7EU. No experience necessary, all equipment will be provided, just wear old clothes, sensible shoes and come with enthusiasm! Refreshments will be provided. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Well behaved dogs welcome. The rain didn't stop 3 volunteers from turning up, a tremendous effort, 31 bags, lots of big items including a very large toy dog!.

Hoveton Hates Litter

Chapel Pickers
We are a group of residents and holiday makers who want to keep Chapel St Leonards village and its beach free of litter. We welcome anyone who would like to join in. We meet every Thursday at 10am at the pullover onto the beach. Afterwards we go and have a drink and natter so it's ideal if you want to make new friends.

The Friends of Mile End Park
We litter pick Mile End Park, Tower Hamlets on the second Sunday of every month. We meet at 10am by the Art Pavilion which is by Clinton Road and just off Grove Road. We generally do a couple of hours. We can\'t do the whole park in two hours so we generally head north one month and south the next. Litter pickers, gloves, plastic litter bags, and hoops for the bags are supplied. We collapse in a heap at the end in The Coffee Room afterwards and reward ourselves with cake and coffee, and a good old chit chat.
