Meeting at the Birchen Grove car park at 10am, for a walking litter pick along the north west side of the reservoir. We'll be finishing at 12. All equipment will be provided. Just wear old clothes and sturdy shoes and come with enthusiasm! Great turnout, 11 volunteers, 31bags, plus the usual random items, including a toaster!.

Bradshaw Hall Clean UP Friends
This group intends to make the areas around Bradshaw Hall Primary School an example how our public open space, roads, play grounds etc. should look like in terms of cleanliness. Currently, the area is in a relatively good condition when compared with some other areas across Greater Manchester which have been terribly affected by littering, dog fouling and fly tipping. However, there are still a lot of work to be done and a lot of mind-sets to change that it's each individual's responsibility to clean up their own mess.

We aim to prevent and discourage litter and ensure its removal as rapidly and effectively as possible, in order to maintain a clean and attractive environment in and around Tiverton. Bennett\'s Community Crew are a team of people from Bennett Restaurants Ltd. (a franchise of McDonald\'s) who want to make a difference in their local area. We currently have 18 restaurants across Hampshire, Dorset & Wiltshire and St Helier in Jersey. As well as doing litter patrols on a daily basis in our local areas, we have bigger events at least quarterly. We have been working in our local communities from before 2011 however only formed as Bennett\'s Community Crew in early 2015. We have a Planet Champion in each of our restaurants who champion their local community. We are always looking for local events to take part in.

Green Gym work outs can include helping volunteer wardens with various projects, including shrub clearance, bramble cutting-back, unwanted shoot removal and any other environmental jobs under guidance! We have guided walks with knowledgeable wardens and keen amateurs. This is an opportunity to meet new people and enjoy quiet and lovely natual environments in north west London.
