Cracking on with the litter picking in the new year, we are pleased to announce the first Primrose Parks Alliance litterpick of 2020 and this time we are going to smash the Mill Dene area. It's always an interesting area, finding many weird and wonderful things! We will meet on Springwell Road, just over the road from Jarrow School at 11am. Please wear suitable clothes, stout footwear and waterproofs. Litterpicking sticks, gloves and bin bags will all be supplied and a short H&S briefing will be held before we all get cracking! Spread the word, get outdoors and help to make our Jarrow a lovelier and safer place. Love where you live :) .

myself and a couple of like minded individuals have been litter picking our local parks, back lanes and mountains for as long as we can remember. the amount of rubbish we are finding is getting worse and worse so we are aiming to do as much as we possibly can so that we can get our parks, lanes and country sides back to how they should be... litter free! our aim is to show people that it's super fun, cool and easy to make that little bit of difference to the environment, hopeing that they will join in on our quest to keep the earth clean.

Chailey Litter Pickers
Chailey Litter PIckers have now been active for over a year, having formed in April 2016. We meet as a group monthly, to pick as wide an area as we can in one go. Group members also pick around their own area between group events. Some equipment is always available for group events and I can help people to purchase their own equipment if they would like to do so - gloves, grabbers, bag hoops. We will happily also travel to pick in other areas to help out on group events or to pick in areas where a particular need has been brought to our attention.
