Dove Cottage, St Mary's Church Debenham 9.30a.m A good turn out for a drizzly morning!!21 people, 48kg ( or 9 bags) collected. 2 incidents of fly tipping reported. Debenham cubs picked up 4kgs on 10th October, so we welcome them joining us and a local company are doing regular staff group pick ups, so brilliant work all round!!Pizza , cake and coffee afterwards, make it a really great community event..

Hoveton Hates Litter

Our groups main aim is to improve the local environment so that it looks cleaner and more presentable as the litter in the area is spoiling the look of where we live and work. We would like to bring together the working community of the business park in order to clean things up a bit by keeping the area litter free. Currently most of the work is done by my Border Collie who collects crisp and other wrappers and plastic bottles. She then finds the nearest waste bin and puts the litter in it. She has been doing this for the past 5 years.

Mashamshire Litter Busters
Mashamshire is an area of outstanding beauty. We are doing what we can to preserve it. We do litter collection along the lanes and footpaths in and around Masham - and we find loads of plastic. We are reducing the impact of micro-plastics on the diet of your children and grand-children! A Masham resident has kindly offered to pay for our group meeting coffees. Many thanks. As we go about Mashamshire we get many kind appreciations from folk that we meet.
